✅ The 4-Week Back-to-School Checklist
(That Will Actually Reduce the Mental Load)
Everything you need to do—without doing it all alone.
When you see just how much actually needs to get done before school starts, it’s staggering. And yet, usually most of this work is managed solely in one parent’s brain. No wonder parents feel burned out and beyond overwhelmed before school even starts.

How to use this checklist:
Review. We thought of everything, so you don’t have to. Cross off the items that don’t apply to your family and make any desired changes.
Delegate. Review the list with your family (a partner, your kids if they are old enough, a caregiver, etc) and start divvying items up, so everyone knows who is responsible for what. Some tasks take more time than others, so keep that in mind as you divide it all up. The goal doesn’t have to be 50/50 (unless you want it to be), the trick is to find the cadence and ratio that works best for your family.
Conquer! Start checking things off! We did this list in countdown format so you can work slow and steady up until school starts instead of
